Biography

Dr. Hillel D. Braude directs research at the Mifne Center. He is responsible for initiating and directing research projects around early assessment, and intervention around the Mifne Center method for treatment intervention of infants with the prodrome of autism and their nuclear families. He has a medical degree from the University of Cape Town Medical School and a Ph.D. (cum laude) in philosophy of medicine and medical ethics from The University of Chicago. He is the author of numerous publications in the fields of philosophy of medicine and neuroethics, including Intuition in Medicine: A Philosophical Defense of Clinical Reasoning (The University of Chicago Press, 2012).
